Always Follow the Syllabus

The syllabus is the blueprint on how you should prepare for the exams. The main problem faced by every candidate is information overflow. You will get a lot of materials and there are high chances of you getting confused about what to study. The only remedy to avoid this crisis is to keep a copy of the syllabus with you. Follow the syllabus thoroughly and make sure that all the areas mentioned in the syllabus are covered. Tick the subjects you covered and always practice cyclic revision based on the syllabus.

Analyze Previous Years Question Paper

When you have completed the syllabus analysis and collection of material for the preparation, you should go through the previous year’s question papers. Question papers are the best source to know about the question pattern and the mark distribution. Select the question papers based on the syllabus and give stress to the most asked area. Whenever you get any study material you can easily distinguish between the important and unimportant topics with the help of these previous questions.
