Kerala Administrative Service KAS Notification 2019-2020

The much-awaited notification for Kerala Administrative Service (KAS) Examination has been officially published on November 1st, 2019, on the special day of Kerala Piravi which marks the birth of the state of Kerala.

KAS Aspirants has been waiting for this notification for about 2 years and preparations for this exam by the degree holders in the state have been going on since Kerala Government had notified the KAS details in the Kerala Gazette in December 2017.

As per the notification the first rank list of KAS will be published on November 1st, 2020 for which preliminary exam will be conducted in the month of February 2020.

Recruitment is being conducted for about 150+ vacancies and it includes expected openings incoming 1 year as well.

A recently held Kerala Public Service Commission Meeting was earlier decided to release the KAS recruitment examination syllabus along with the notification.

The Commission, in its meeting, has also agreed with the direction from the government to provide a 4% reservation for persons with benchmark disabilities or PwBD candidates.

In KAS exam scheme, the first paper (general) of the Preliminary exam will carry 100 marks while the second paper will have general knowledge questions for 50 marks, questions for 30 marks for checking the expertise in administrative or local languages (Malayalam, Tamil and Kannada) and questions for 20 marks for checking English language knowledge.

CSEB Kerala Notification 2019 Junior Clerk / Cashier in Co-Operative Society / Bank Recruitment in Kerala

Co-Operative Service Exam Board (CSEB) has invited applications for the recruitment of Junior Clerk / Cashier in Co-operative Banks / Societies in Kerala.

The exam will be conducted by the board and interview will be conducted by respective co-operative societies/banks.

Selection of suitable will be based as per the list provided by the board and by the rank list published by respective banks/societies.

Age Limit: 18-40 (as on 1/1/2020)

Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for Ex-Servicemen, 10 years for those who are physically challenged.

University Assistant Exam Date Announced by Kerala PSC

The much-awaited date for university assistant exam has been announced by Kerala Public Service Commission.
As per the notification the exam will be conducted on 15th of June 2019.

There is only limited no of days to prepare for the exam and the time is also very crucial considering the fact that you can expect another similar kind of notification for University Assistant Exam only after 2 years.

Between 23/03/2019 and 11/04/2019 you have to confirm that you will be writing the exam by logging on to the one time registration profile of Kerala PSC.

Plese note that, those who are not confirming that they will be appearing for the exam before 11/04/2019 will not be able to download the admission ticket.

Admission ticket for the exam will be available for download from 01/06/2019.

Questions from the history of Indian National Congress is regularly repeated by Kerala Public Service Commission in almost all examinations like Kanpur Sessions, Lucknow Session, Kolkatta Session etc.

Indian Constitution
This topic is one of the toughest for all psc aspirants. For many, it seems that the rules, amendments, article and the numbers associated with them are not easy to grasp. But when you look at the previous questions you can find that most of the questions are comparatively simpler ones. One can expect question-related to presidents, parliament and various commissions.

English
With regard to English questions, you can score full marks if you go through previous question papers. If there are 10 questions then 9 out of them will be from previous question papers.

Indian Geography
Another important topic from which questions usually arises is with regard to Indian Geography and you can expect at least 2 questions from this subject. You must give special attention to learn facts related to major rivers in India and its origin and tributaries.

You can expect questions related with dams and lakes as well from Indian Geography.

Above mentioned are some of the common topics from which you can expect a majority of the questions.

Prepare for the exam to secure at least 90 marks so that you can get at least 80 to 90 marks in the actual exam which will help in getting yourself in the rank list.
