FSO (Food Safety Officer)-2020, Question paper and its answer key is out now!!!

FSO (Food Safety Officer) Exam has conducted by Kerala Public Service Commission on 29/9/2020.Due to pandemic situation the exam was postponed from May to September 29. Almost 20,000 aspirants appeared for the exam. The selected candidates are appointed in the Food Safety Department. Earlier the exam was conducted in November 2015. So, it was really the most expected examination for the candidates who are preparing for PSC. Now the provisional answer key of the exam is released by the Kerala PSC.     Concept of sterilization and its differences from disinfection-Thermal resistance of microorganisms. Sterilization with moist heat, Dry heat sterilization, Sterilization by radiation, Sterilization by filtration and Gaseous sterilization.
    Processing of Tablets-
    Definition; different type of compressed tablets and their properties. Processes involved in the production of tablets; Tablets excipients; Defects in tablets; Evaluation of Tablets; Physical standards including Disintegration and Dissolution. Tablet coating-sugar coating; films coating, enteric coating and micro-encapsulation
    Processing of Capsules-

Kerala PSC 10th level Preliminary Examination Syllabus

The Kerala Public Service Commission (PSC) is going in for a major overhaul in its examination process. The commission has decided to conduct the examination in two phases. Taking a cue from the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), there will be a preliminary screening test and a final examination. The question paper is very well prepared in Malayalam format only.

There will be  100 questions from topics like Kerala Renaissance, Current Affairs, General Awareness, Mental Ability, Numerical Ability, General Science ,etc. The preliminary test will have a general syllabus while the main examination will focus on the subject which is closely related to the nature of the work they apply for. The new pattern will benefit applicants as the PSC will select 5000 to 10,000 candidates from the preliminary list and they will be allowed to write the main examination. The updated pattern of Exam’s detailed syllabus is as follows.

LDC and LGS Exams to be conducted before November 2020

Kerala PSC is aiming to conduct and exams of LDC (Lower Division Clerk) and LGS (Last Grade Servants) Exams before November 2020.

About 17.60 lakhs people had applied for the Lower Divison Clerk Exam.

Earlier, before the lockdown, Kerala PSC had decided to conduct the exam in June.
