Trying to cram the entire psc syllabus into your head in one or two days before the exam is nearly impossible, let alone useful. That way of studying is not sensible and will not aid you in exams. Take Maths as an example. Mathematical problems often require time to complete. Spend too much time on it; you will only have a little time to complete other answers. Spend too little time on it; you must guess the answer or skip the question entirely. Mock test help test your knowledge and the time it might take to complete the test.

 

Effective Learning

 

Often time it’s less about what you learn and more about how you learn. It is very important to follow the syllabus and work out previous questions, but how you study also plays a significant role in memory-making and recollection. Prepare notes and write as much as you can. This is a much easier way of remembering formulas, numerical facts, dates, etc. Another great way to make learning easy is reading your lessons out loud. Of course, methods differ from individual to individual. Find your strengths and weaknesses and focus on the strengths to effectively tackle the weaknesses. You can even make use of chocolate or a piece of candy to ensure you do not get drowsy while studying.
